oh! how the dogs stack up*

just seconds ago i hanged up on my newly re-obtained friend.  we stopped talking after some very unfortunate event, needless to say it was a man’s fault (we never learn from our mistakes, do we). i am truly happy that everything is back to the place it was, or, at least, on the way to get back into the right order.

yup, this is it. another year has passed by, another year of un-/fulfilled promises and hopes. anyway, i must try not being so cross about everything; it is terrifying how much bad i have unintentionally done during hanukka.

next year, next year will be better. i will try, at least, though the thought itself  mortifies me – i will be 21; i will have no excuse for not knowing what to do with myself, because even in usa, even there i will be treated as an adult.

Youth is when you’re allowed to stay up late on New Year’s Eve. Middle age is when you’re forced to.

the most sad animation i have ever seen. we all want to fly, don’t we.

It is a bird! No, it is a plane! No, it is … Obama?

i am still afraid to try snowboarding

yesterday i had an opportunity to ride a quadricycle deep in the woods. i am thinking cold, i am thinking ice on the roads, i am thinking adrenaline, when my chief’s quadricycle overturned and the girl behind him hit her head badly. now, that is what i call a motivation to pass exams and get the driver’s licence. when i grow up, i will own a quadricycle.

oh, totally forgot. the best part about it was that, when i got home, i noticed that part of my left boot’s sole is missing. few millimetres and part of my fingers would be missing too. can’t imagine when & how i almost lost my foot.

”Did I tell you how divinely and utterly happy I am?” – Breakfast at Tifany’s

that’s right. i just finished this awesome movie (can’t believe, i postponed watching it for this long!) and i am totally and madly in love with it.

Holly: “You know those days when you get the mean reds? “

Paul: “The mean reds, you mean like the blues? “

Holly: “No. The blues are because you’re getting fat and maybe it’s been raining too long, you’re just sad that’s all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you’re afraid and you don’t know what you’re afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?”

Paul: “Sure.”

Holly: “Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s, then – then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name!”

and last but not least is that school is over!!!  But my last test in text analysis was so funny :D imagine me writing a dictation after long day at work. yup, yup, it never ends good :D the most funniest quotes from my masterpiece to lighten up your mood:

“… there was a horrible mocking at the front door…” [should have been - knocking]

“… wind wipped the candles back to life…” [whipped]

“… in on the wind that came with Perry, there was a mistounding trail…” [astounding]

“(..) es domāju, ka iešu prom no universitātes. Es taču neņemu reklāmas bukletiņus uz ielas tikai tāpēc, ka tie ir par brīvu! Tad kāpēc man jāmācās šis murgs?”
